Poetry Month: Day Six (by Oscar)

I chose "The Talking Tissue" because it is fun to read and I think it's funny. Also I enjoyed writing it and I would like to share it with everyone.

Here it is:

The Talking Tissue
I woke up one
morning,
and guess what
I found,
a talking tissue,
laying on the ground.
I tried to pick it up,
but it jumped
away,I guess
I'll just stand here,
day-after-day.
I said:"Why are you here
in my house?"
It said:"because I am
running
from a
mouse!"
I stared at it
and it stared at me,
all of this weirdness
makes me have to pee,
I stared at it more,
it pointed under my bed,
I looked and saw
a puny little head.
The tissue ran strait out of the place,
and the mouse,
well...
it jumped on my face.
I was mad,
the tissue
 felt bad.
I was going to call my dad,
but when I opened my mouth
the mouse crawled down
my throat
and my cat jumped from
under my bed.

  1. Oscar,

What an eventful poem! So much happened! You used rhyming to really keep the poem moving.
